The Power of Positivity has published a report in the family and community corner about the main signs of depression in children that should not be ignored.

A child may become depressed when negative indicators continue to affect interests, social activities, family life and school work.

He added that depression is of two types, major depression and partial depression (dysthymia). Severe depression can last about two weeks, and may occur in your child's life more than once, while partial depression is a protracted form of depression that lasts for at least two years.

The website listed a number of signs that may indicate depression:
