Putin: Zelensky got a “hard legacy”

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky got a “heavy legacy”.

“I don’t even know what is left there (in Ukraine. - RT ). There is no shipbuilding, no aviation, rocket science has almost ended its existence ... This is a difficult legacy. And, of course, Zelensky has a lot to decide. But first of all, he needs to solve the question of how relations between Ukraine and the Donbass will develop, ”Putin said at a plenary meeting of the III International Forum“ Russian Energy Week ”(REN).

During the speech, the Russian leader commented on the scandal in the United States around the conversation between President Donald Trump and Zelensky. According to him, in the United States any reason is used to attack the head of the White House.

Putin said earlier that Russia is ready to extend the contract with Ukraine for pumping gas for a year if a new agreement is not signed.
