The Lombard Public Prosecutor's Office of the Court of Auditors has ordered a decree of dismissal against the then CEO of Expo and current mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala, in connection with the contract for the supply of trees to the site of the Exhibition. For the same facts, Sala was also acquitted in criminal proceedings.
