October 1, 2019Ama's Board of Directors resigned. The decision was taken just over 100 days after the settlement after the break with the Capitol on the 2017 budget.

The Board of Directors of Ama, composed of the president, Luisa Melara, the managing director, Paolo Longoni, and the director, Massimo Ranieri, resigned today. Ama communicates this in a note.

'' If Raggi says she was left alone, then we were abandoned. I'm disappointed and angry, if the plan for Ama was another we could tell right away. The waste problem is not managed with ideology but concrete actions are needed ". This was said by Adnkronos, the director of the board of directors of Ama Massimo Ranieri, entering the Calderon de la Barca office, where the board of directors has today formalized the resignation.
