January 12: 24-year-old man - Spånga
Shortly after 8 pm on Saturday, January 12, police were alerted to Lättingebacken in Spånga after several people heard a bang. An injured man was found and taken to hospital, but only a few hours later, the 24-year-old died.
Investigation Mode: Suspects have been deprived of liberty, but have been written off and released. However, the preliminary investigation is still ongoing.
January 30: 18-year-old man - Söderhöjden
At 19 o'clock on Wednesday, January 30, police were alerted to Jakobsberg in Järfälla Municipality after residents heard gunshots. An injured person was found outdoors and taken to hospital, but the 18-year-old's life could not be saved.
Investigation Mode: Three people are in custody and will be charged with murder. The Prosecutor expects to bring charges within the next week. At the main hearing, there are two additional accused suspects for other crimes linked to the case.
February 8: 17-year-old boy - Brunna IP
On Friday, February 8, at 21, police were alerted to a gunshot wound in Hallunda in Botkyrka Municipality. Outdoors, at a sports field, found an injured 17-year-old boy. He was taken to a hospital where he died.
Investigation Mode: A person is detained in his absence suspected of assisting with murder. The person is believed to be abroad. Before this person has been heard, according to the prosecutor, it is difficult to move forward in the investigation.
February 21: Jerry Lehtinen, 22 - Upplands-Bro
Alarms about a person shot dead in Upplands-Bro were received on the night of February 21. No address was given, but after a while searching, police patrols found a bullet wounded person outdoors, near Norrängen's preschool. It was 22-year-old Jerry Lehtinen. Despite life-saving measures, his life could not be saved.
Investigation: Two people were previously arrested on suspicion of the murders of Jerry and Yeison (see below), but in July the prosecutor dropped the suspects and upheld the arrest decisions. The investigation has been handed over to the police who are working on the case. There is no suspect at this time.
February 21: Yeison Lopez, 20 - Upplands-Bro
Shortly after police found Jerry Lehtinen, another person was found a few hundred yards away. Police immediately state that the man, 20-year-old Yeison Lopez, is dead. Yeison and Jerry were childhood friends.
Investigation: Two people were previously arrested on suspicion of the two murders, but in July the prosecutor closed the suspects and made the arrest decisions. The investigation has been handed over to the police who are working on the case. There is no suspect at this time.
March 9: 20-year-old man - Älvsjö station
Shortly after 5pm on Saturday, March 9, the police received several calls about a gunshot wound in the ticket hall at the commuter train station in Älvsjö. On site, security guards found a 20-year-old man who was shot dead and when police arrived it was found that the man had died.
Investigation: Two people who were previously detained are dismissed as suspects in the case. There is currently no other suspect for the crime.
April 11: Hermon Daniel, 18 - Sätra
On Thursday, April 11, police were alerted to Sätra in southern Stockholm after two inanimate people were found in a basement room in a multi-family home. Once in the scene, the police found that the persons were dead. One of the victims was 18-year-old Hermon Daniel.
Investigation: Two men have been arrested since June on suspicion of double murder pending prosecution. The Prosecutor is awaiting technical examination and believes that the preliminary investigation can be completed in no earlier than one month. After that, a decision on prosecution can be made.
April 11: 20-year-old man - Sätra
Beside Hermon Daniel (above) lay his childhood friend, a 20 year old man. Police believe the men had been in the basement for at least a day before being found.
Investigation: Two men have been arrested since June on suspicion of double murder pending prosecution. The Prosecutor is awaiting technical examination and believes that the preliminary investigation can be completed in no earlier than one month. After that, a decision on prosecution can be made.
April 13: 24-year-old man - Sätra
Just a few days after the double murder, Sätra is hit by another shooting death. Police were alerted to a multi-family home at 4am the night after a 24-year-old man was shot indoors. In the morning, police announced that the man had died from his injuries.
Investigation: There is no detention in the case. The preliminary investigator has heard witnesses and is awaiting the results of the technical investigation.
June 30: 17-year-old boy - Malmvägen
An early Sunday evening on June 30, police received an alert about a shooting on Malmvägen in Sollentuna. Two young people were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and one of them, a 17-year-old boy, died later that night.
Investigation Mode: There are currently no detainees. Continued hearings are held with persons who may be of significant importance and any technical analyzes are made on an ongoing basis.
June 30: 23-year-old man - Blackeberg
The same night as the shooting on Malmvägen, two other shootings occurred in Stockholm. One of them happened late in the evening in Blackeberg. A shot-injured man, 23 years old, was found and taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter. On Monday, police announced that the man died from his injuries.
Investigation: Two people are detained and the prosecutor expects to be able to prosecute in a few months. The preliminary investigation continues with a technical investigation and other analyzes as well as witness interviews.
August 7: 25-year-old man - Tensta
Early in the morning on Wednesday, August 7, a passerby found a lifeless man in a forest grove in central Tensta. Police came to the scene and found that the 25-year-old man was dead.
Investigation Mode: No one is arrested on suspicion of involvement in the suspected murder but otherwise the prosecutor has nothing to comment on in the case.
August 19: 54-year-old man - Stocksund
On Monday evening, August 19, police were alerted to Stocksund in Danderyd after loud bangs were heard near a grocery store. Shortly thereafter, police found a 54-year-old man who was shot and wounded. An ambulance was sent to the scene but the man's life could not be saved.
Investigation Mode: There are three suspects in the case but at present there are not sufficient reasons to request any of them arrested. The preliminary investigation now continues with technical investigations and interrogations.
August 28: Ndella Jack, 18 - Råcksta
At half past two on the night of August 28, police were alerted to Råcksta in west Stockholm after an apartment was shot from outside. An 18-year-old woman was found shot dead at the scene. Ndella Jack was taken to hospital but her life could not be saved.
Investigation Mode: There is currently no suspected arrest for the crime. The police are working to hear witnesses and the National Forensic Center has received material to be analyzed.
September 7: 25-year-old man - Österhaninge
At 09.30 on Saturday, September 7, police were alerted to a cemetery in Haninge municipality where a lifeless person lay on the ground. An ambulance was sent there and staff were able to confirm that the 25-year-old man was dead.
Investigation Mode: There is currently no arrest for the offense. The prosecutor does not want to comment on the investigation.
