The Izvestia newspaper reported that the Russian Ministry of Labor and Social Protection plans to discuss the introduction of a four-day work week at the enterprises in test mode.

Valery Korzh, director of the department of labor protection and labor protection at the Ministry of Labor, said that the salaries of employees who can go on a short work week should not be reduced. However, the duration of shifts should not increase.

Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor and Social Policy, Yaroslav Nilov, in an interview with the FAN, commented on the preparation of the experiment with a four-day working week.
