According to statistics, most fruits and berries were consumed last year in Kabardino-Balkaria (117 kg per person per year), Krasnodar Territory (94 kg), Adygea (88 kg), Voronezh Region and Primorsky Territory (77 kg each).

The lowest indicators of fruit consumption per capita for 2018 were recorded in Chukotka (12 kg), Tuva (21 kg), Kalmykia (31 kg) and the Republic of Mari El (33 kg), as well as in the Irkutsk and Tomsk regions (34 kg each) )

Most vegetables and melons in the past year were consumed in Dagestan (247 kg per person), Kabardino-Balkaria and the Volgograd region (181 kg each), as well as in Astrakhan (172 kg) and Orenburg (159 kg) regions.

The lowest rates of vegetable consumption are in Chukotka (34 kg), Tuva (41 kg) and Buryatia (62 kg), as well as in Yakutia and the Irkutsk region (70 kg each).

On the whole, in 2018, in 2018, vegetable consumption increased compared to the previous year and amounted to an average of 107 kg per year per person (in 2017, it was 104 kg).

Also, Russians began to consume more fruits. In 2018, on average, 61 kg of fruits and berries fell per person in Russia, while in 2017 this figure was 59 kg.
