World Athletics Championships: Ethiopian Muktar Edris retains title over 5,000m

Ethiopia's Muktar Edris, world champion in the 5,000m in 2017, retained his title in 12:58:85 on Monday at the World Athletics Championships in Doha.

Edris is ahead of his countryman Selemon Barega, 19, and the Canadian Mohammed Ahmed. The young Norwegian prodigy Jakob Ingebrigtsen finished 5th.
