The General Directorate of Tourism said that Riyadh expects a large tourist flow from Russia after the launch of a new visa system.
The ambassador noted that the aviation authorities of the two countries prepared all the documents for direct air communication between the states.
Earlier it was reported that Saudi Arabia introduced tourist visas for citizens of 49 countries, including Russians. A visa can be obtained electronically or upon arrival in the country. Its cost, along with compulsory insurance, will be about $ 120.
