They were robbed - threatened with a knitting weapon

The police became aware of the incident shortly after the 13 o'clock on Monday when the man, who is 25 years old himself applied to the police.

"He came to the police station at the Railway State and told about the incident that must have happened on a street outside in Vivalla at 12 o'clock," says Christina Hallin, press officer at the Bergslagen police region.

Four people unknown to the man must have threatened him with a firearm and he got rid of his cellphone and a bag. The persons must then have disappeared from the scene.

- We have prepared a notification of personal robbery, but the man does not want to participate further himself. We do not currently have a good signal element to follow.

What does it mean that he does not want to participate and how common is it to happen?

- It does not belong to the ordinary in this type of case. This is more common in cases involving violence in close relationships. Since we have raised a notification, we have an obligation to investigate this. We will probably call him for questioning and he will not, so we will try again, says Christina Hallin.
