Like every year in France, October is dedicated to the fight against breast cancer among women. In 2017, nearly 60,000 new cases were diagnosed in France. 12,000 women died. However, thanks to better screening and more effective therapies, this mortality has decreased in 15 years.

More than 95% of women who have had early screening are recovering from their cancer, hence the importance of outreach actions conducted throughout the Pink October. Meeting with a woman who is one of the 30% of women who must, they, follow a treatment for life because their cancer has developed elsewhere in their organization.
