The pensioner benefit system begins Oct. 1 at 4:11 by raising the consumption tax rate

Along with the increase in the consumption tax rate, a benefit system that provides a maximum of 5000 yen per month will start as a way to support living for pensioners with low income.

The pensioner support benefit system starts this month, using the increased revenue from the increase in the consumption tax rate.

The benefits are for those who are 65 years of age or older, including those who are tax-exempt households whose annual income including the pension is 879,300 yen or less. A maximum of 5,000 yen per month will be paid on the pension.

It is expected that approximately 9.7 million people will be eligible nationwide, but you must apply for it in order to receive benefits.

The first time, the two months of this month and next month will be paid in mid-December, and in order to receive it, you need to apply by 18th of this month.
