His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Rashid Mireidov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, on the sidelines of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, while the UAE concluded the sixth day of its participation in the session, held a series Meetings with official delegations to discuss key regional and international developments.

During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah and the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan reviewed the friendly relations and cooperation between the UAE and Turkmenistan and ways of enhancing them in various fields, including economic, investment, cultural and political.

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the keenness to enhance bilateral relations and develop joint cooperation in all fields for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.

Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash opened the ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), chaired by the state this year, where member states discussed a number of political, social and economic issues as well as contemporary challenges facing the Islamic world.

During the meeting, Gargash stressed the UAE's keenness to continue constructive dialogue with the member states to develop cooperative programs that promote the interests of the OIC members.

Gargash attended the high-level General Assembly meeting on Sudan to discuss the current political and security situation in the Sudan, and met with the Special Adviser of the UN Secretary-General to Sudan, Nicholas Hayesom. The two sides exchanged views on the latest developments in Sudan and stressed the joint commitment to support the efforts To achieve stability and security.

Ahmed bin Ali Mohammed al-Sayegh's meeting with Yildiz Pollak Beagle saw the signing of an agreement on mutual visa exemption arrangements. Hessa Bint Buhumaid delivered a speech at the Sustainable Development Goals 3 and Universal Health Coverage event to discuss how to make progress in improving the health of millions of people by increasing life expectancy, reducing maternal and child mortality and combating major infectious diseases.
