Earlier it became known that the Russian agency Sputnik refused to issue accreditation to the annual conference of the Conservative Party of Great Britain the day before it began.

An application for participation was submitted a month before the start of the congress, but the response from the organizers of the event was refused late on Saturday, September 28.
