Kravall police have in an attempt to prevent protesters from approaching the central Hong Kong government office with water cannons. The protesters, many dressed in black with umbrellas and plucked in their hands, have taken over a road leading to the government office.
The protests, with demands from the Beijing government on democracy reform, have been going on since June. Today's protests follow yesterday's as they too became violent.
The violent protests do not seem to calm down. On the contrary, it is planned that on Thursday a new march.
