Light for a family in gloom: a "little brother" for Julen

Eight months after knowing better than anyone else the taste of desolation, the parents of little Julen Roselló outline a smile marked by hope and the illusion of a new life .

Victoria García, the mother of the child who shocked half the world after a fatal accident that is now being judged, has confirmed that she is waiting for another baby . It is probably that "little brother" she referred to there by March of this year, when still broken by the pain of Julen's loss, she said that "I wish" she could arrive soon. This was stated in an interview on the "Public Mirror" program of Antena 3: "I promised to give Julen a little brother and I will give it to him," he said then.

The longing for something better comes now for this family, which has been debated since last January between the bewilderment determined by Justice , and the penalty of losing a child, in the conditions in which the death occurred Julen, after the fall in that fateful Totalán well on January 13.

The "two angels of Vicky"

Eight months later, in the middle of a judicial battle with the owner of the farm where the perforation that literally swallowed Julen was, nature gives a boost to his parents , too accustomed, surely, to misfortune. José accompanies his wife at all times, and together they try to overcome a situation that goes beyond a family loss . In their case, people know them; he encourages them sometimes without thinking that a phrase is remembered; Those who see them on the street are witnesses of a couple who had two bras left in their lives: Oliver and Julen.

The first, son of both, died when he was only three years old , due to a sudden death caused by cardiac arrest, which was the first of the vital blows for this young couple from Malaga.

The second, the best known, this year 2019. Only two years later on a Sunday morning they wanted to live together in the countryside, with some friends. That day, Julen fell into a hole just 25 centimeters in diameter, but up to 70 meters deep , from which only the Mining Rescue Brigade of Asturias was able to rescue him, 13 days later.

That is why Victoria (Vicky) always feels "well accompanied" from her right arm. In him, Oliver and Julen, their two "angels", who gave meaning to their life before, and continue giving it, otherwise, now look tattooed.

For José and Vicky, the backpack of the past is too heavy to forget. Never forgets. You never erase so deep wounds and scars so pronounced, but good news now adds to your common path.
