Kurtz's party leads parliamentary elections in Austria

It is noted that the Austrian Ministry of Internal Affairs, which is responsible for organizing and conducting elections in the country, has begun the counting of votes.

About 10 thousand polling stations worked in the framework of the elections.

According to RIA Novosti, according to the first count, the Austrian People's Party, led by former Chancellor Sebastian Kurtz, leads the election with 37.2% of the vote.

At the same time, according to the exit polls of the Austrian television channel OE24.TV, Kurtz’s party is gaining 37% of the vote. The second place may be taken by the Social Democratic Party of Austria with the support of 23% of voters, and the third - the Austrian Freedom Party (17% of the vote).
