UAE astronaut Hazza Al Mansouri said that the International Space Station has many means of communication with the Earth, and that he communicates with his family by his own phone.

This came in response to a question about the way to communicate with his family, in his third live broadcast from the International Space Station, since his arrival on Thursday.

“My children are proud to be an astronaut representing the UAE,” Mansouri said. “I talk to them in my spare time, and most of their questions focus on the way I eat, sleep and my normal life.

“My family was the first to encourage me to dream of being an astronaut, and the school supported my ambition.

Scientific experiments on the International Space Station were useful to mankind, because they were accurate because they were conducted in virtually zero gravity conditions.
