Femininity, certainly liberated, is definitely back on the catwalks in Paris: at Givenchy, it goes through a slender silhouette and rounded shapes at the crossroads of the flower garden and the energy of the megacity.

Urban chic, Clare Waight Keller, British designer of the French house, designed for the spring-summer 2020 a new tailor silhouette consisting of a long jacket close to the body and shorts narrow.

Another novelty is the washed-out denim of the 90s, "upcycled" in an eco-responsible approach to be transformed into two-tone shorts or coat, ripped jeans or skirt slit forward with frayed hem.

Symbolizing "the patina of time", it is mixed with blouses with floral prints for the spring renewal.

Collars "scarves", bells skirts, balloon sleeves: the volumes are softened for a more feminine elegance compared to previous seasons where the designer had played with androgyny. Square-tipped mules with graphic heels shape the silhouette.

The suits or classic pants are however played down with flat sandals. In white, blue, green water or mauve, next summer will be full of freshness for the woman Givenchy.
