“It is important to note that since last year’s general political discussion of the UN General Assembly, no progress has been made in the political settlement of the conflict,” Tame quoted Mamedyarov.

The Minister stated that in his opinion, the Armenian leadership is not interested in a peaceful settlement of the conflict.

“Yerevan, on the contrary, undermines this process with its statements and actions,” he added.

Earlier, at the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Elmar Mammadyarov and Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, an exchange of views on the Karabakh issue took place on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
