Eight members of Japan's former parliament and Japan Medical Association executives will visit North Korea on the 28th to inspect local hospitals, etc. to exchange medical fields between Japan and North Korea.

A total of eight people visit North Korea, including seven former members of the Diet, headed by former member of the House of Councilors Hideki Miyazaki of the Liberal Democratic Party, and one senior member of the Japan Medical Association. This is the first time that the Japan Medical Association has officially dispatched staff to North Korea.

According to a reporter interview at a transit airport in Beijing, China, former member of the Diet Miyazaki said about the purpose of the visit, “Going purely for humanitarian purposes. "I don't know if I don't have to talk one-on-one with nakedness," he stressed the significance of exchange.

Former Representative Miyazaki says that the message from the Japanese government to the North Korean side has not been entrusted, and that the North Korean side will report any stories related to the Japanese government.

Mr. Miyazaki and his colleagues are planning to stay in North Korea for a period of 6 days until the 3rd of next month, visit a hospital and observe the medical field of tuberculosis and obstetrics and gynecology.
