“Disturbing news from Washington - resigned Kurt Walker, US Special Representative for Ukraine. It’s hard to overestimate his contribution to strengthening our strategic partnership with the USA, ”Poroshenko wrote on Twitter.
He noted that with Kurt in Ukraine “it was more confident”.
“You have set a high standard of trust and effective engagement that will not simply surpass any successor. I am sincerely grateful, Kurt! ”Wrote Poroshenko.
Earlier, CNN, citing three sources familiar with the situation, said that Walker had resigned from his post as US Special Representative for Ukraine.
