61 exhibitors visit this year's food fair at Gustafsvik in Kristinehamn together with various celebrity chefs. Since last year, the Tourism Unit at Kristinehamn municipality is organizing the fair.

- We have an exciting stage program with both celebrity chefs and grilling on stage, says project manager Linnéa Palmqvist.

New for this year is that there will be a "flavor section" where visitors will have the opportunity to taste small portions that the chefs cook on stage.

- There will be a lot of cooking this year in Taste in Värmland, says Linnéa Palmqvist.

Hope for at least 8,000 visitors

Last year, around 8,000 visitors were attracted. This year, the organizer hopes that as many will come.

- We want a lot to come, we are very proud of the program and the exhibitors. There will be a varied selection of exhibitors from all over Värmland, says Linnéa Palmqvist.

Earlier this year, when Smaka på Värmland was organized in Karlstad, the food fair attracted around 13,000 and 14,000 visitors, how will you reach those visitor figures again?

- It will take a while to come in with a new place, but we notice an increased interest - among other things, a fully booked bus will be coming from Varberg this year, so hopefully more will come than last year, says Linnéa Palmqvist, adding that when it was 14000 visitors to the Marieberg forest then there was no entrance to the event.

Alexandra Zazzi one of the celebrity chefs

One of this year's draws is chef Alexandra Zazzi, who became known to many when she starred in the Robinson TV show in the late 1990s. During Sunday, she will cook based on Warmland ingredients.

- She will cook from the exhibitors and we look forward to that. It will be exciting to see what she chooses to do, she has a focus on both health and Italian cooking so it feels very fun that she comes, says Linnéa Palmqvist.
