The Electoral Management Committee and the Intelligent Systems Committee held a meeting in which they discussed the latest preparations and arrangements for organizing voting operations in the polling stations during the early voting days from 1st to 3rd of October, and the main voting day scheduled for 5 October 2019.

The meeting discussed the readiness of electoral centers distributed in all emirates to receive voters from all logistical, technical and technical aspects, enabling voters to exercise their voting rights and participate in voting for their candidates with ease and the meeting also reviewed the achievements of the electoral management team.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs, Member of the National Elections Committee and Chairman of the Electoral Management Committee, Tariq Hilal Lootah, stressed the great efforts exerted by the electoral management teams and smart systems in completing preparations and equipment for the electoral centers and providing the best services that match the aspirations of the UAE leadership. Achieving the highest standards of happiness and satisfaction for voters who are members of electoral bodies.

He said: «Today we are on a new stage in the process of advancing parliamentary work, which will culminate with the participation of members of electoral bodies in all emirates of the UAE in this national duty, and vote for their candidates for membership in the Federal National Council».

He added: «The continuous and continuous work of the task forces aims to ensure the full readiness of all polling stations in all areas of the country, where they were established according to a deliberate plan to enable all voters to reach them, while emphasizing their ability to receive all voters from members of electoral bodies».

He stressed that the active participation of members of electoral bodies in the voting processes for the elections of the Federal National Council 2019, is the pillar for the success of parliamentary work, because it is the means to ensure the arrival of the most fitting and most able to represent the citizen under the dome of the Federal National Council.

The meeting also reviewed the report of the experimental day of voting, which simulates the voting processes in the FNC elections 2019, and discussed the plan to deal with emergencies and crises, and discussed possible scenarios and mechanisms to deal with them, in addition to reviewing the recommendations of the meeting of the committees of the National Elections Commission.
