Two men have been found dead this Friday at a well in a feed company located on the Old Way of Simancas in the Valladolid capital, sources from the Fire Department and the 112 Emergency Service of Castilla y León have informed Efe.
It was shortly before 8:15 p.m. when a call alerted 112 that a person was in a well and could be lifeless.
The Fire Department, the Local and National Police, the Emergency Coordinating Center of the Civil Protection Agency and the Emergency Medical Unit of the Health Service of Castilla y León, Sacyl, were notified.
The acting agencies reported that they had finally removed two bodies from the well, sources 112 said.
The event was triggered when one of the people who was deceased, a 58-year-old employee of the company, apparently accidentally fell into the well , sources of the investigation have explained to Efe.
Another 48-year-old worker is supposed to have seen what happened and tried to help and rescue the affected person, but, possibly due to gas emissions, he also fell to the same place.
The lifeless bodies of the two fatalities have been taken to the Forensic Anatomical Institute of Valladolid.
