The Civil Guard intervened manuals for the manufacture of explosives in the records carried out within the framework of the Judas against independence activities by the Defense Committees of the Republic of Catalonia (CDR).

According to Europa Press sources of the investigation opened by the Central Court of Instruction number 6 of the National Court, the documentation was intervened after the records that were made in the homes of the nine people who were arrested in the operation. Two of them were released and the other seven entered the prison of Soto del Real (Madrid) on Thursday after decreeing Judge Manuel García Castellón unconditional prison for crimes belonging to a terrorist organization, possession of explosives for terrorist purposes and conspiracy to Havoc commission.

The investigating judge considers that the detainees are part of a group called the Technical Response Team (ERT) of the CDR. In this sense, according to sources of the investigation reported to Europa Press, the manuals relate to Jordi Ros , one of the investigators who was sent to prison.

Investigators place Ros in the 'hard core' of this organization that allegedly pursues the proclamation of the Catalan republic, even by "violent" means, as the magistrate said in his prison car.

According to the same sources, among those manuals - about twenty, they need - are instructions to make Goma 2, a powerful explosive habitual in terrorist actions. Also, the agents intervened a detonating weapon, which does not produce real fire, among the numerous material found in the dozens of entries and records that were made in different parts of the province of Barcelona, according to the same sources.

Both elements are added to an inventory that includes termite, among other substances compatible with the manufacture of explosives, and abundant documentation and computer material that is being cloned for analysis, according to legal sources.

Precisely, this documentation contains annotations related to critical infrastructures and public buildings, as well as information regarding the Civil Guard barracks in Canovellas (Barcelona), according to the material available to researchers.

The proceedings began 15 months ago at the request of the Civil Guard Information services. During this time, listening has been practiced, among other actions that have led investigators to frame detainees in the ERT, a faction of the CDR that, according to the judge, has a "hierarchical structure that was intended to establish the Catalan Republic by any way. "

Although the first phase of the operation would have concluded with the arrest of nine people, there are more lines of investigation open in relation to the seized documentation that could lead to new arrests, according to the sources consulted.

Of the seven people incarcerated, five have the same defense strategy, coordinated by the Alert Solidária legal team and chose to respond only to their lawyers to defend that they are "normal and ordinary" people and that they have no relation to activities of terrorist nature.

The other two, however, chose to testify both before the Civil Guard and before the judge and have ex officio lawyers. One of them, precisely, is Jordi Ros. The other is Ferrán Jolís Guardiola .
