Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said yesterday that Egypt is a strong country with Egyptians and the media has a strong role in educating the people.
Speaking at Cairo airport after his return from the United States, where he delivered Egypt's speech at the UN General Assembly, Sisi said: "Egypt is a country with a great place in its people and Egyptians cannot be deceived, and there is no need to worry."
He added that there was an attempt to falsify the facts and create a different picture of reality.
`` There are those who are trying to thwart the achievements of the Egyptians and draw unreal images through their media and electronic committees, '' the Egyptian president told a group of Egyptians who received him, stressing that it is a 'war between us and them', because they will not let the Egyptians succeed and continue the process of building their homeland.
The Egyptian president said that everything that is raised in their media lies, slander and distortion, and this media and its electronic committees present a false picture in an attempt to restore what happened earlier, which will not happen, stressing that when the Egyptians are asked to go down, they will go down and millions, as happened in the mandate 26 July 2013. The official page of the Egyptian President on Facebook published photos of Sisi after the return trip, where a number of citizens gathered to receive him, and Sisi was keen to get off and communicate with them closely, amid the celebration of his return to Egypt.
