By the way, I think Russia had a hand in this,” Pelosi said in an interview with MSNBC, commenting on the allegations Trump She limited herself to this statement and did not provide any other details.

Recall that on September 25, the United States officially published the transcript of the conversation between the leaders of the United States and Ukraine. In it, Zelensky promised that the new Ukrainian prosecutor general would study the situation with the son of former US vice president Joe Biden.

Recall that in 2014 Hunter Biden joined the board of directors of Burisma, which is one of the largest Ukrainian private gas companies. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova ironically commented on the words of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi about Russia's “involvement” in the scandal surrounding Trump’s conversation with Zelensky.

“Given that it was Nancy Pelosi who inflated the“ scandal surrounding the telephone conversation between the presidents of the United States and Ukraine, ”according to the speaker’s logic, Russia had a hand in it,” the diplomat wrote on Facebook.

In turn, a member of the State Duma committee on international affairs, Anton Morozov, suggested that Trump’s position in Ukraine in the United States could be considered incorrect.

“As you know, they (USA. - RT ) tried in Ukraine to implement their standard scheme for pumping out funds, which they do in all countries where they manage to establish a pro-American regime. Trump decided to oppose this, which violated the unwritten rule and practice of US behavior in all territories under their control, ”the parliamentarian explained in an interview with RT.

The accusation of Russia, according to Morozov, can be associated with an attempt by interested parties to divert attention from the main defendant in the scandal.

“All this hype that arose because of this conversation is connected with the fact that the American public is trying to divert attention ... from the actual important episode of the Biden family’s participation in corruption schemes in Ukraine,” the deputy said.

He did not rule out that in the US they could initiate an investigation into Russia's involvement in this conflict.

It should be noted that the content of the conversation between Trump and Zelensky became the reason for starting the formal impeachment procedure. Pelosi and Democrats in Congress argue that the American president was putting pressure on Zelensky to get incriminating evidence against Joe Biden.

In a new interview, she stated that she intends to limit the impeachment procedure only to the current scandal surrounding the conversation between Trump and Zelensky.

“I believe that we should focus, because the public is alarmed that the US president used the means of taxpayers to blackmail the leader of another country for his own political gain,” Pelosi said.

Journalists asked her about the likelihood of ending the impeachment procedure before the end of this year. She replied that the Democrats in this direction intend to "advance purposefully and expeditiously, but without haste."

Trump said he himself authorized the publication of a transcript of his conversation with Zelensky, which he called "worthy."

“I had a simple and very good conversation with the new president of Ukraine, he could not be better or more worthy, and the fake media and democrats working in the team fraudulently presented him in a bad light,” Trump wrote on Twitter.

Trump noted that the conversation "was not bad, he was legitimate and very good."

It should be noted that the American Ministry of Justice reviewed the transcript of the conversation between the two leaders. The department said that they did not see any violations of the law in it.
