“Inadequate settlements of such enterprises for gas pose a threat to the heat supply to consumers during the heating period, which is absolutely unacceptable,” the company said, urging debtors to pay off their debts for gas.
It is clarified that at the moment 116 companies are included in the corresponding list. Moreover, in Ukraine there are 1316 companies providing centralized heating services.
According to Naftogaz, the list includes heating suppliers that serve Kiev, Krivoy Rog, Vinnitsa, Odessa, Kharkov and other Ukrainian cities. The risk of disruption of the heating season is especially great in Smela, Cherkasy region and in Chervonograd, Lviv region.
Earlier it was reported that strategic enterprises of the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine may be limited by electricity due to accumulated debts.
On August 20, the representative of Vladimir Zelensky in the government, Andrei Gerus, said that the upcoming heating season in Ukraine could be difficult due to problems with coal reserves and disputes with Gazprom on transit issues. According to him, coal reserves at thermal power plants are 40% less than last year. In addition, earlier, Naftogaz warned of the risk of a breakdown in the heating season due to debts of regional utilities.
