This is how security at the Travel Center is felt: "It has become better"

The people that SVT News Uppsala has talked to say that they have lately felt safer.

- It has become better in the center as there are more guards here than before. The place that I feel unsafe is down at the subway tunnel as there are many gangs hanging there, says Lisbeth Sundin.

On Thursday, employees from the Police Authority and Uppsala Municipality gathered to talk to Uppsalaborna about how they view the security at the Travel Center and other central areas in Uppsala.

- You feel safer during the day, but there are places where you can feel a certain amount of insecurity in the evening, says municipal police Lisa Sannervik.

The police and Uppsala municipality will also conduct a survey in which Uppsala residents are given the opportunity to give their views on how they perceive the environment around central parts of Uppsala. The results of the survey will be presented later this fall.
