In fact, according to the sources, police coordination in response to possible incidents in the streets by the Supreme Court's ruling was to be present at the Joint Commission meeting , after it has been made public that the Ministry plans to reinforce riot control of the bodies and security forces of the State in Catalonia.

On the part of the State, the Government delegate in Catalonia, Teresa Cunillera, was scheduled to attend this afternoon's meeting; the director of the Coordination Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Security, José Antonio Rodríguez; the chief of the National Police in Catalonia, José Antonio Togores, and the head of the VII Civil Guard Zone, Pedro Garrido.
