Sävsjö has the third finest park in the country

A total of seven parks were nominated for Elmia's Competition of the Year Park 2019. Everything from cemeteries to city parks around the country competed.

The park worker Johanna Mattsson in Sävsjö has been involved in renovating the park. In an interview with SVT this summer, she described it with several of the criteria that the jury has based on - that it is quiet, accessible, has richness and gives room for activities.

In a press release, the municipality writes that Johanna Mattsson feels happy and satisfied with third place.

- It feels great. Above all, it is fun that the competition involved so many of the inhabitants of Sävsjö. Both the winner Arvika and the second prize winner, Hedemora, are just like we smaller resorts and parks. It feels a little extra fun, she says.
