The first secretary of the Socialist Party, Olivier Faure, asked Emmanuel Macron on Thursday to come out of the "big blur" on pension reform during the debate of Rodez rather than "to occupy the time until the municipal".

"Today, it is the big blur with a President of the Republic who does not play cards on the table, who announces us a systemic reform very worrying for the French and the French, anxiety, because nobody understands where he wants coming, "accused the MP for Seine-et-Marne on France 2.

"The question today is whether, indeed, we are simply debating to occupy the time up to the municipal level (...) or are we actually debating an entry into a real negotiation", a- he stressed.

"I wish we could play cards on the table, let the president tell us: + That's what I want +, at least we know his intention and from there, we can negotiate, but we do not do not negotiate in the vagueness and know exactly what he intends to do, "claimed the leader of the Socialists.

"For now we do not know who calculates the point (of retirement)," warned Mr. Faure, calling for a "just reform that allows everyone to finally receive the tribute of his professional life ".

Emmanuel Macron is expected Thursday in Rodez (Aveyron) to debate with 500 French of the future pension reform and try to reassure them on this flammable and emblematic of the second part of the quinquennium.

By republishing this format of meeting which allowed him to find colors in the opinion after the crisis of the "yellow vests", it will kick off the "wide consultation" which must extend until the end of the year on this long-term reform.
