SD leader Jimmie Åkesson has long dreamed of forming what he calls a "conservative bloc" together with the Moderates and the Christian Democrats. So far, the Moderate leader Ulf Kristersson has been outwardly cold-hearted about such ideas and would rather not talk about the approach to the Sweden Democrats at all.

But if the result in the SVT / Novus voter survey stands when the next election begins to approach Elisabeth Marmorstein believes that Kristersson will be forced to take a position. "After all, it is not enough to fit in the government issue as we approach the elections," she says.

The result in the SVT / Novus survey would entail a distribution of seats where M + KD + SD together will receive 176 seats, which means majority. But this is based on the Liberals leaving Parliament with today's listing of 3.6 percent voter support.

This is an important caveat for the reasoning, as much can happen in a voting movement and support votes may affect right up to the rally.
