AC Milan lost to Torino 2 goals to 1 in the closing match of the fifth day of Serie A on Thursday, falling in the second half of the Italian league.

Six days after a logical defeat in the Milan derby against Inter (2-0), current leader with 15 points, Marco Giampaolo's men were trapped in the second half by the Torino, though led to the break.

At home, the club Piedmont (north) can thank his captain, the Italian international Andrea Belotti, author of a doubled in four minutes (72nd, 76th).

With a powerful shot at 20m, the striker first misled a Gianluigi Donnarumma who was not very alert to equalize before enjoying a ball released by the Milan goalkeeper on a shot by Simone Zaza to pass in front.

In this mid-table duel, Milan opened the scoring following a penalty obtained by former Lille striker Rafael Leao and converted by star striker Pole Krzyzstof Piatek (18th), who scored his second goal of the season.

With this victory, the Torino climbs to 6th place, while AC Milan falls in 13th position.

Frenchman Theo Hernandez, brother of Lucas (Bayern Munich), world champion with the Blues, debuted for the first time under the colors of Milan at the left side.
