Megan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, drew attention by wearing a headscarf and a long and loose dress during her visit to South Africa's Awal Mosque in Bo Cap.

The visit is part of the royal trip, which includes Markle and her husband Prince Harry and their son Archie, and includes a tour of African countries are South Africa, Botswana, Angola and Mali, and extend for ten days.

She wore a headscarf and loose dress to show her respect for tradition to celebrate South Africa's Heritage Day.

The Awal Mosque is a symbol of freedom and freedom from slavery. The mosque has hosted people of different religions and cultures for decades to promote the concepts of friendship and understanding among diverse communities.

He also briefed the Duke of Sussex on the first known manuscript of the Koran in South Africa, written by religious and political leader Tuan Guru from memory during his imprisonment on Robben Island, in the late 18th century.
