26 September 2019Fca from 2020 will realize new Maserati models in Turin, Cassino and Modena. The first will be the new super sports car that will be born in the Modena headquarters and will also have an electric version.

In Cassino, in Lazio, the utility vehicle will arrive and 800 million euros will be invested for the new production line. A similar investment is expected in the Turin production center (Mirafiori and Grugliasco), where the new Maserati Gran Turismo and Gran Cabrio will be produced, along with the new 500 electric car that will be released in the spring.

Investments had been announced on November 29, 2018. In total, they amounted to over 1.5 billion. The general secretary of the FIM Cisl - Italian metalworkers' federation - Marco Bentivogli, comments: "These investments confirm a plan already announced in November 2018, within the 5 billion of investments up to 2021".
