“We, the channel’s team, see this as strict censorship, which casts great doubt on the freedom of speech in Ukraine ... The actions of the National Council are illegal,” the channel’s website said in a statement.

The company also noted that some members of the National Council had expired.

It is specified that the channel will continue satellite broadcasting, broadcast on cable networks and the Internet.

“112 Ukraine” regarded the actions of the regulator “as an illegal decision of an illegitimate authority”.

Earlier, the National Council refused to renew the 112 Ukraine license due to the fact that the channel, according to their data, systematically violated the terms of the license and received several warnings.
