“The heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the two countries discussed priority issues of the Russian-Saudi agenda with an emphasis on the upcoming visit of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the Kingdom,” the message said.
The ministers also exchanged views on pressing regional issues, including the situation in the Persian Gulf, Yemen and Syria.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia discussed preparations for Putin's visit to Riyadh.
