"Friday Aljaih" .. Artists struggle between support and rejection of Egyptian demonstrations

After a controversial video released by Egyptian dancer Fifi Abdo, and a new song for Mohamed Ramadan; the conflict between Egyptian artists between supporters and opponents of the demonstrations called by the artist and contractor Mohamed Ali on Friday, under the title "revolution of the people" to complete the demonstrations that began last Friday.

The most prominent Egyptian artists involved in the movement against Sisi was Khaled Abol Naga, who joined the demonstrations against Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in New York City in front of the residence of the Egyptian President who is attending the General Assembly of the United Nations.

Abu Naja published pictures of him among the demonstrators on his Instagram page, uploading pictures of Dr. Hazem Ghoneim, the brother of activist Wael Ghoneim, who was arrested by the Egyptian authorities, and demanded his release.

While Amr Waked continued to support the demonstrations through his Twitter account, and published a video circulated on social networking sites from within one of the palaces Sisi talked about Mohamed Ali, and shared Waked through the tag "Not Main" in English.

On the other hand, artists supporting the regime of Sisi continued their campaigns against the calls for the demonstration, where the actress and dancer Fifi Abdo published a section criticizing Mohammed Ali and insulting him with profanity, which caused widespread controversy on social networking sites, and some described as "compass of the rock."

Fifi Abdo described those who attack the Egyptian army "dogs", and that those who call for the revolutionary movement "thieves who want to steal the country, and want to turn Egypt to Syria, Libya or Iraq," as described.

Fifi then apologized for what she had done, in a television interview on Tuesday evening, to about ten million of her followers on the communication sites, explaining that the "outgoing words" that came out of her was an expression of her love for her country, and that her emotion was the result of what the chirps on Egypt, and repeated her greetings Fifi said that Sisi means Egypt, and that it does not bear the abuse of his person, and that he serves not only Egypt, but serves the entire Arab world, as she put it.

Actor Mohamed Ramadan also released a new song titled "Ayezinaha Chaos" on YouTube, describing the demonstrations as chaotic, and that Egypt "is a country of security and safety mentioned in the Holy Quran will resist calls to spread chaos."

Ramadan broadcast a video clip on his channel on YouTube, which he described as a message to the people of Egypt, and called on the youth of Egypt to be patient on the difficult circumstances, and rejected calls to demonstrate, and called on citizens to transfer their problems to parliamentarians to resolve them.

Ramadan added that the Egyptian citizen is honoring his country wherever he travels, so the enemies should not be insulted by them.He should not listen to calls coming from abroad to demonstrate.Ramadan said that he suffered a lot in his career, and that he belongs to a poor family and is very patient in his difficult circumstances.

Video under security guidance
Egyptian artists released a video in support of Egyptian President El-Sisi and refused to demonstrate last week, which appeared to be made in haste and ordered by security agencies. The video featured artists Ahmed Bedair, Hani Shaker, Ahmed Flux, Hajjaj Abdel Azim, Shaaban Abdel Rahim, Hakim, and others. They chanted "We are with you, Reese", "The army is a red line," and "Long live the army of Egypt and fall the traitors."
