His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved the annual budget of the Emirates Children's Theater Festival, organized by the Theatrical Society in cooperation with the Sharjah Department of Culture, which starts the 15th edition of Culture Palace in Sharjah next December with a budget of AED 950,000.
Abdullah Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Department of Culture, praised His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah for the public benefit associations that he continuously promotes every year to support the cultural movement in the country and extends to Arab and international cultural institutions.
Al Owais said that His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah stresses the importance of the children's theater in building the character and developing their skills, thus completing all stages of the theatrical categories starting from the child through this festival through Kalba Festival for short plays on youth category and amateur and school theater Scout Theater, Khorfakkan Theater Festival, Sharjah Theater Days, Sharjah Gulf Theater Festival and Arab Theater Festival, in addition to financial support for many festivals held in the region and the Arab world. In many countries of the world and provide training courses for experts in the school theater.
Al Owais added that the Emirates Children's Theater Festival has devoted itself as an annual activity on the map of the UAE theater.
