The Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discussed with German Chancellor Angela Merkel the strategic relations between the two countries and ways of developing them in the areas of economic and trade cooperation.
During the meeting with the Emir of Qatar at the residence of the Permanent Qatari delegation to the United Nations in New York, the two sides discussed major international developments and the latest developments in the Middle East, particularly Libya.
Sheikh Tamim also discussed with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi bilateral relations and ways of developing them in various aspects of cooperation, especially political and economic.
The Emir of Qatar and the Indian Prime Minister exchanged views on developments in the region.
