According to Ving, owned by Thomas Cook, 1,700 travelers have canceled their trips to their destinations. At the same time, 1,500 travelers should not know how or when they will be able to return to Sweden.

- I really keep my thumbs up for our trip, but unfortunately it looks dark, says Therese Björk.

Lovisa Jensstad and her family had long been looking forward to the trip to Cyprus. They were reached late by the message that Ving is canceling all his trips today.

- We were told on the airport bus half past six this morning by a traveler behind me. When we arrived at Arlanda we were met by nothing, no staff or information. The only thing we saw was that the flight was canceled, she says.

"Worst are children's expectations"

The plane would go at half past eight in the morning. Four minutes past seven, the family received a text message stating that the flight was canceled and that they would be reimbursed for the trip.

- But it's not just the money for the flight that sets it up. This has been a trip we have planned since six months ago, and it is not so easy to take out a new holiday week. But worst of all are the children's expectations, says Lovisa Jensstad.

"Uncertain not to know when to get home"

On site in Cyprus there is Anton Axfors and his company. They would have gone home today, but have been told to wait.

- It's a little worried. Maybe more people want to go home for work and everyday life, he says.

Also Åsa Backman and her family would have traveled back today, but now the children and she are stuck in Cyprus.

- It feels okay. We feel good, a little uncertain about not knowing when to come home alone, she says.
