“We are talking about various dates that will suit everyone ... I think that the most real will be mid-October,” said Priestayko on the air to Gromadske.

According to him, in the near future, a tripartite contact group to resolve the situation in the Donbass should agree on a text for the Norman summit.

“I think that in the near future either in the format of a videoconference, or they will gather again in Minsk, this text will nevertheless be agreed upon,” he said.

Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy Irina Vereshchuk said that if the meeting in the Norman format takes place, it will be very difficult for President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, because "he will not have friends there."

On September 18, Priestayko announced that the Norman summit had not taken place, because Russia, for "technical reasons", could not take part in it.
