Last week, a national alarm went off after a school-aged girl who disappeared from a family home in Bohuslän. At the same time, two siblings, who were also placed in family homes, have been missing since last summer.

Now the children's parents have been asked to be detained, reports P4 West. They are suspected of human trafficking or gross autonomy with children.

- But detention only applies to gross autonomy with children. I do not know if that is so, but in my eyes as it looks right now, it is not human rights as it is formulated in the law, says prosecutor Tomas Ahlstrand, to SVT News West.

The case was discovered with the girl's disappearance last week. However, according to Sten-Rune Timmersjö, group manager at the unit for serious crimes in Fyrbodal, the suspicions against the parents also apply to the disappearance of the siblings.

- We are looking for the children and they are internationally wanted. However, we have not found them yet, he tells TT.

Detention negotiations are held during the Monday afternoon.
