The Abu Dhabi Police Security Inspection Department (K9) carried out 4,277 missions during the first six months of the year, including participation in the Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX), the Irina Exhibition and Conference, the Mother of the Emirates Festival, The poet of the million, the Federal Supreme Court, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, all sporting events, vital facilities and coasts, the international private aviation exhibition, the Moroccan festival, conferences and periodic meetings.
The administration said in press statements yesterday that it focused its efforts on raising the efficiency of specialized police cadres, and acquainted with the latest international developments in the techniques of using attack dogs and security inspection tasks for police dogs.It also carried out about 70 community participation, and received 254 communications during the same period.
The Director of Security Inspection Department, Brigadier Jamal Habash, stressed the keenness of Abu Dhabi Police to take advantage of the experiences and successful experiences achieved by trainers of dogs and security institutions and police, in the optimal use of them, and provide appropriate solutions to address the challenges related to training, inspection and veterinary care.
