- Then I followed the drama until midnight via Twitter. When I woke up this morning, the bankruptcy had been confirmed for an hour, says Julia.

On Monday morning, tour operator Ving had not yet provided any information, other than the one on the website.

- We are not very worried about going home. It looks like there are plenty of home flights to book to if needed. But we want to make sure we get the money back.

Affected by Sterling bankruptcy

For the Janson Thorfinn family, this is the second time they have suffered bankruptcy in the travel industry.

- We were traveling to the Canary Islands and flew with Sterling, when they went bankrupt in 2008. At that time we were only two adults. We now have three children, one in seven months. Then it is even more bookable, says Julia Janson Thorfinn.
