Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp revealed what Mohamed Salah said about Sadio Mane before the Egyptian star moved to the Reds.

Klop said Salah admired his teammate, but was worried that the Senegalese international was in the right wing, the same as Salah.

Salah joined Liverpool from Roma in the summer Mercato in 2017, a year after Mani joined Lever in 2016 from Southampton.

The relationship between the two stars has suffered several crises because of not passing each other in the games, most recently the departure of Mani angry when substituted in the game Burnley in the Premier League at the end of last month, because Salah did not pass the ball in an attack in which the Senegalese striker closest to score.

Klopp praised Mani and Salah, describing them as wonderful personalities despite their differences, pointing out that they have distinct skills and their level develops together.

Klopp said in a statement that when he spoke to Salah for the first time he welcomed Liverpool's offer, but added that "Mani is in the right wing attacking position and it is not bad, is not it? He responded that this is true, but Mani can play in the left wing as well."

Klopp pointed out that the dialogue is not aimed at separating each other, but to play together and represent a strong threat to the competitors, and it was successful with Firmino as a link between them.

Mani and Salah shared the Golden Boot for the Premier League title last season with Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with 22 goals each.
