The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) will investigate "inconsistencies" in the data from the controls of the Moscow laboratory handed over by Russia earlier this year, she said Monday.

WADA gave Moscow three weeks to justify itself. If fraud on this data is proven, it could lead to new sanctions against Russia hit by the scandal of institutional doping that has plagued the country between 2011 and 2015.
