Ten first-leg games of the last qualifying round were played on Sunday 22 September. The most brilliant performance is to the credit of Togo, net winner of Nigeria (4-1). It also feels good for Zimbabwe, winner of Lesotho (3-1), and for the DRC, which won in the Central African Republic (2-0).
